deacons
Deacons serve the Lord by assisting the elders in managing, leading and serving, in the caring ministry of the church. Doing the benevolence work and being alert to the spiritual/physical needs of the congregation, for the purposes of freeing the Elders and pastoral staff to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel. (Acts 6:1-4)
