In two words—glorifying God. That’s it. Look at our church constitution and read our Purpose Statement which is stated in our WCF Constitution and By-Laws (p. 2):
"Warren Community Fellowship exists for the purpose of glorifying God by evangelizing and discipline men and women of all nations to be followers of Jesus Christ in every area of their life and equipping them to reproduce disciples." Evangelism * Edification * Exaltation * Extension

This is the reason why our church exists. What we believe, our Faith Statement, is clearly defined in Article III: DOCTRINE (WCF Constitution and By-Laws, pp. 2,3)

Our Vision Statement describes what we intend to do now to experience our purpose: Our vision is to glorify God by a clear and continual proclamation of the Gospel throughout east Columbia County so that people will come here to worship God in Spirit-filled services that are creative and culturally relevant, and will stay here to be equipped to become Christ-followers who serve their families and the church with wholeness, and to be His witnesses in their daily lives.

OUR STRATEGY FOR WCF

Key Strategies:

#1. In order for WCF to remember and to concentrate on our reason for existing it is our hope of communicating our purpose statement and focusing our ministries with these five key imperatives derived from our purpose statement: (The Five P’s):

Praise God	"WCF exists for the purpose of glorifying God (Exaltation)
Proclaim Christ	by evangelizing and discipline men and women of all nations (Evangelism)
Prepare Servants	to be followers of Jesus Christ (Edification)
Permeate Life	in every area of their life (Edification)
Produce Fruit	and equipping them to reproduce disciples." (Extension)

#2. In order for us to grow in our purpose to Praise God it is our hope of providing worship services that inspire and teach adults and children so that they are empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow in passionate spirituality by daily quiet times and to be powerful witnesses of Christ with prayer, integrity and joy.

#3. In order for us to develop our purpose to Proclaim Christ it is our hope of  proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to all the residents of Southeast Columbia County through all avenues of media and special events that meet the needs of pre-Christians. For example, our VBS, radio, TV, newspapers, youth group outreaches.

#4. In order for us to be more effective in our purposes to Prepare Servants, and Produce Fruit it is our hope of helping  people each week to grow in passionate spirituality through  Bible classes (like Sunday School, home fellowships and Precepts) that help Christians strengthen their faith to become well-equipped, productive servant-leaders in inspiring worship, holistic small groups, gift-oriented ministries, loving relationships, Bible studies, missions, life-style evangelism, and counseling.

#5. In order for us to deepen in our purpose to Permeate Life it is our hope of encouraging healthy family life through a Wednesday Family Night with ministries for children, teens, and their parents. Our intention is to concentrate our church activities to one night a week so that you can have more evenings home with your family. The time pressures on us is a significant contributing factor to family conflicts and marital difficulties so we making every effort to help families by doing our part to limit our nights out.

The Bible reveals, "without a vision the people perish"; literally, "the people are scattered." Our prayer is that as we work toward accomplishing our Purpose Statement with these strategies that God will bring us together to walk in the same direction following our Good Shepherd in His paths of righteousness. It is our prayer that as we attempt great things for God that He will take our efforts and change them as He sees fit because "God is able to do immeasurably more than
all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" so that He will be glorified.
