The heart of Children’s Ministry at WCF is all about loving children – from holding newborns to instructing sixth graders. As ministry workers we want to support families in the spiritual formation of the children.
We love the little children and want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your baby. For your convenience we offer a Nursing Moms Room where you can take care of your child’s needs and not miss hearing the service. The Family Room is located in the back of the worship center for families that have active children and still want to attend worship service
We offer child care for those who are 0 to walking and walking to potty trained. For your child’s safety we staff 1 worker for every 3 infants, 1 worker for every toddler, and 1 worker for every 8-10 children (depending on age group).
Children's Ministry is our instructional and worship time for all children potty trained through 6th grade. We offer two different opportunities for children on a Sunday Morning 9AM and 10:45 with two different curriculums so that parents can also attend Sunday worship services and Adult Connection classes.
After the children are signed in by their parents downstairs at the registration counter, they gather in their classroom and then assemble in room 101 for morning worship. After worship is over they move back into their classes for Bible study, games, crafts, and snack. When you are ready to leave you may sign your child out at their classroom. We take your child’s safety very seriously so background checks are done on all children’s ministry workers and only those who signed your child in my sign your child out.
Seven days without God makes one weak! We want to offer a steady diet of God’s word for your family. In conjunction with Crossover, we offer a midweek children’s ministry program that takes on the form of a Bible Club atmosphere. The Bible studies are synced with the Sunday Morning Curriculum and focus on reinforcing the application to the Bible lesson. This program is for children potty trained through sixth grade.
