Have you ever heard the above statement before? Many times, when we hear this quote, people are complaining that Christ-followers are not concerned about the condition of mankind or planet earth. Our heads are in the clouds, and we would prefer to be in another place. So, therefore, Christ-followers don’t contribute to the betterment of life.

The Insanity Of Rejecting Jesus

Find Strength In God

But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6 (NASB)
 
In 1 Samuel 30, we find David and his 600 men returning to Ziklag, where they lived with their families in Philistine territory. David and his men had been traveling for three days. When they arrived, they found their homes burned to the ground and their families nowhere to be found. While the men had been away, the Amalekites attacked Ziklag and burned it, taking captive the women and all in the city, both young and old.
