He spoke in the presence of his brothers and the wealthy men of Samaria and said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Jesus Our Good Shepherd

As Christ-followers, we are well acquainted with Jesus as our Savior. When we confessed with our mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believed in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, we were saved (Romans 10:9). By God’s grace, through our faith in Jesus, we were saved (Ephesians 2:8). It was a glorious day when Jesus became our Savior. And what a wonderful Savior He is! Yet, He is so much more. Jesus is our Good Shepherd (see John 10:11, 14).

Praising God And His Blessings And Presence

Praise the LORD, the God of our ancestors, who made the king want to beautify the Temple of the LORD in Jerusalem! And praise him for demonstrating such unfailing love to me by honoring me before the king, his council, and all his mighty nobles! An Alignment Adjustment

Corporate worship realigns our cognitive understanding of God. Who He is and what He has done for us. From Sunday to Sunday, life has a way of taking shots at our knowledge of God, and maybe only subconsciously, our perspective of God, His character, and His nature can get bumped off course. Corporate worship allows us to declare God’s character and qualities, and it reminds us of what God’s Word says. Corporate worship keeps before us the depth of God’s greatness.
