Whom Do You Seek?
Blaise Pascal was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer and Catholic theologian, once said, “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.” His point is obvious; man has an internal drive to seek the divine. Because of this void, man will continue to seek and not be satisfied until God fills that void through Jesus Christ. What makes seeking God difficult is that unless God reveals Himself, man never sees Him.

God’s Agent of Eternal Life
The Father gave the Son all power and authority to provide eternal life to mankind; mankind, who before Jesus came, was eternally dead in sin. Man was separated and fell out of relationship with God when Adam rebelled against Him in the Garden of Eden. But Jesus came to restore that relationship and bring God to man.
“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3).
